The team at the Servicio Galego de Saude (SERGAS) will lead the clinical recruitment work package 1(WP1), recruiting from a network of Spanish hospitals and contributing well phenotyped cases to the initial meningococcal GWAS, as well as the cases of pneumococcal staphylococcal and streptococcal infection for the extreme phenotype cohorts They will also contribute multicase families to investigate Mendelian gene defects. This group will contribute to the analysis and fine mapping of top hits, the analysis of the population and ethnic stratification of patient cohorts, and the study of mithochondrial DNA. www.fundacionidichus.org www.regalip.org
